TENERIFE GOLF CONCIERGE (TGC) is a golf booking service. These Terms and Conditions (T&C) constitute a binding agreement by and between TGC and the person (client) that elects to book golf services from TGC.
Consequently:
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BOOKING GOLF SERVICES FROM TGC.
As a client of the service, you agree to be bound by each and every provision contained in the T&C.
Our T&C may be modified or amended by TGC at any time and changes are effective upon notice to each client. Notices by TGC to clients may be given via telephone messaging service or by e-mail and by the posting of the updated T&C on the website.
ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATION
Our quotation is valid up to and for the duration of the required dates the booking relates to.
Once our quotation has been accepted we will confirm your tee times
PAYMENT
Full payment is required 4 weeks prior to your date of arrival.
A statement will be sent by e-mail as a reminder 6 weeks before your arrival with a due date for the balance. Alternative payment arrangements are at the discretion of TGC. Once full payment is received we will send pre-paid vouchers to be printed off and redeemed at each course booked on the day of play.
Please note: Late payments may jeopardise some or all of your booking.
BANK TRANSFERS
Bank account details will be forwarded once we receive your acceptance of quotation.
Payments by bank transfer must be paid in € (euros).
No additional charges will be applied for paying by bank transfer.
GOLF TEE TIMES
Clients must report to reception and book in at least 30 minutes before their designated tee time and be on the first tee ready to play 10 minutes before their tee time.
If you intend to use the practise areas please allow sufficient time to do so.
Please note: Especially during the high season, all tee times are allocated with 4 players. If you are booking for 1, 2 or 3 players then each individual golf course has the right to make each tee time a 4 ball by allocating additional players to your tee time. This is not the decision of TGC, but of each golf course on the day of play and this applies to all players.
AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS

CANCELLATIONS
Notice of cancellations must be made in writing to TGC and acknowledged by ourselves. A 100% cancellation fee will apply to cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to your booked date of play.
Where cancellations are made due to illness less than 72 hours prior to a booked tee time the golf course may offer to re-schedule your round. If it is not possible to re-schedule your round the golf course will require a medical certificate which will entitle you to a refund.
Please note: All refunds given due to medical illness are made on an individual basis and not for the whole group.
MISSED TEE TIMES
Tee times missed for any reason, including flight delays, are the sole responsibility of the client and are not the responsibility of the golf course or TGC and no refunds will be given.
If you do not think you will be able to make your tee time, please call us as early as possible for advice. We cannot guarantee being able to re-schedule due to golf course availability and we cannot make amendments after the tee time has passed.
Please Note: This is particularly important when clients reserve tee times for the day of arrival.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Tee times missed due to poor weather are handled on an individual basis by each course and are not the responsibility of TGC. On arrival at the course, if the course is un-playable due to heavy rainfall, clients are to re-schedule direct with the golf course reception staff and then inform our office. In most cases the courses will work to re-schedule your round but if re-scheduling is not possible, TGC will issue a refund.
No refunds will be given if play begins except at the sole discretion of each individual golf course.
For golf packages that include buggies and due to heavy rain the course will not allow buggies to be used, an electric trolley will be offered as an alternative or the course will offer to re-schedule your round. Only at the discretion of the course will TGC be able to offer a refund.
Please Note: During inclement weather the client must report to the golf course or no refunds can be given. Please be aware that heavy rain, although it may look as though it is going to last a while, can and does often pass over very quickly due to the various micro-climates on the island and that heavy rain in Los Cristianos does not equate to heavy rain in Adeje and vice versa.
REFUNDS
All refunds, for whatever reason, are subject to a 10% administration charge.
ON-COURSE DRESS CODE
Smart, tailored shorts or trousers and T-shirts with collars.
Golf shoes (no metal spikes) with socks.
HANDICAPS
If you are in possession of a handicap certificate or Federation App we recommend you carry it with you as it could be asked for at any time on the golf course.
TGC does not require to see your handicap certificate but all players must be able to play to a minimum standard and show decent levels of golfing etiquette at all times.
If a course marshall asks you to leave a course due to an unsatisfactory standard of golf, poor behaviour or etiquette, no refunds will be given.
TRANSFER SERVICE
Where a golf course transfer service is supplied, personnel effects, including golf clubs, are the responsibility of the client at all times.
INSURANCE
It is the clients responsibility to ensure that all personal effects, including golf clubs are fully insured against damage, loss and theft.
Neither TGC, the transfer service or the golf course take responsibility for the loss of personnel items, including golf clubs, if they are damaged, lost or stolen, beyond our control.
SPECIAL OFFERS
Occasionally TGC are able to pass on special offers from the golf courses to our clients but not all of the offers that the courses may advertise are made available to TGC to pass on.
Any offers are only available for the time period stated on the offer.
CLUB RENTAL
Pick-up and Return of Golf Equipment:
Golf equipment shall be picked up on the first rental day and returned on the last rental day at the pre-arranged time and location.
Clients are required to produce their passport at pick up.
Golf equipment is for rental during the specified period only, you do not acquire any ownership or other interest in the golf equipment.
Any extension to the rental period must be requested before the end of the booked rental period and agreed with TGC, subject to availability.
Responsibility of Renter:
The golf clubs are the sole responsibility of the Renter during the rental period.
TGC accept normal wear and tear to the golf clubs and bag.
Should a breakage occur to a golf club shaft, both pieces of the club should be returned.
For lost, stolen or golf club abuse outside of normal wear and tear, a charge will be applied to cover replacement.
